Registration

Registration Fee

  • Medical Practitioner: general and medical practitioners, family and specialist physicians, clinicians of other specialties (inclusive of Fellows of the colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine).

  • Trainee: basic and higher trainee doctors of one of the colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, interns and housemen.

On-site Registration

Pre-registration is required for all participants, and on-site registration will not be accepted.

Payment Method

  • Please make payment by VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, AE, Alipay or WeChat Pay via the Online Registration System (in Hong Kong dollars). Payment by cash is NOT considered.

  • The event organizer will NOT retain your credit card and personal information during the transaction.

 

Confirmation of Registration

  • Registration will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and only be processed upon receipt of all registration fees.

  • You will receive a confirmation email (with payment receipt for Participant ​Groups 1 to 2) upon successful registration. Please check the details carefully and inform the Conference Secretariat of any changes.

  • All participants must collect their badge during the designated registration time. Only participants with a valid badge will be granted admission.

 

Letter of Invitation

  • The Conference Secretariat can provide a letter of invitation to participants after successful registration. This invitation letter can serve as a supporting document for leave, travel and visa arrangements but DOES NOT imply the provision of any financial or other support.

  • To request the letter, please contact the Conference Secretariat at medconf@hku.hk with your personal details. The processing time is about 7 working days.

 

Certificate of Attendance

Participants will receive an e-certificate of attendance by e-mail within 2 weeks after the event.

 

Refund Policy

All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Event Photo and Video

​The event organizer will appoint photographer(s) to take photos and video for any purposes in connection with promotion, marketing or record of the conference. However, participants’ identification will not be revealed without prior consent.

 

Liability

  • The event organizer will NOT be responsible for personal accidents, loss and/or damage to private property during the conference. Participants should take care of their personal belongings at all times.

  • Any lost item found will be transferred to the hotel for handling.

 

Disclaimer

Whilst every attempt has been made to ensure that all aspects of the conference announced will take place as scheduled, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes at any time should the need arise.
